So the date of our official anniversary, and the snow just won’t quit. Mother Nature does not give up. Plenty of snow, and big big flakes. Go snow!

So we finished painting the nursery, and put the crib together. It’s quite nice to be done.

Erica and I decided to celebrate our one year anniversary (observed) by going out to Heartland. Erica won the menu fight, and ordered this delicious lamb chop and sausage — hiding behind the chop.

I went to Jimmy’s today with every intention of doing some painting on my Warhammer guys. Laziness prevailed though, and we found ourselves in the middle of a marathon session of Super Smash Brothers; thank goodness for nerdiness.

Today was a hell of nice day, and we decided to go for a walk. There was a nice ruckus from some birds, and upon investigation, the loud little guy was a cardinal at the top of a tree. Here he is singing his song.

After several attempts to get Phil away from his teens, I managed to get him to go to a Wild game with me. Must have been a lucky charm, cus the Wild won 3-1 over Edmonton.

On the drive home, there is a beach which during the winter, some people sometimes swim at. I don’t remember when it got kitted out, but someone was real excited about lifeguarding.
