Erica and I walked down to Lake Hiawatha, to watch some sunset at the nicest view in the Twin Cities. There happened to be a gentleman heading out in his canoe, and he didn’t seem to notice, or care, that I kept taking pictures of him.

It had cooled down for a couple days, allowing us to turn off the AC and open some windows. This of course leads me to standing and staring out the open windows like a bonehead. I like me some summer nights though.

Erica and I made some shrimp po’boys with the leftover shrimp from my birthday evening, and they turned out delicious, even without being fried. Add in some Marie Sharp’s straight from Belize, and it’s an amazing sandwich of awesome.
